Buffalo Grove Junior Police Academy signup forms due June 1

Applications for the Buffalo Grove Junior Police Academy, open to Buffalo Grove residents and students ages 12-15, are due by June 1. The Junior Police Academy program is designed to provide an overview of the various aspects of law enforcement in sessions from 10 a.m. to noon Monday, June 13, through Friday, June 17. Sessions are held at the Police Department and consist of presentations, discussions, demonstrations and hands on class participation. The program is free and class size is limited to 20 participants. Applications are available at the front desk of the police department, 46 Raupp Blvd., or online at the police page of the village website vbg.org.
