Hold Obama to tougher standards

The president went on TV trying to explain why he's been doing almost nothing but golfing since the "worst disaster in our history," noting that since day one, he has been having meetings in his office about this issue.

Really, were you there showing your compassion? Were you pulling the best people together to solve a problem or pulling people together to make sure a "good crisis opportunity is never missed?"

Will the press hold the president accountable every moment repeatedly in the news about not reacting or being compassionate enough? Will we hear the biased, unfounded charges toward the White House now? I doubt it. Reagan was an old man when he fell asleep during the strenuous hours of the presidency, but when Clinton fell asleep, it was the long, hard hours he (more than 20 years younger) he was putting in. Most likely it was long hours focused on something else.

These people are self-absorbed egomaniacs who must be driven out of every office in the country. This country, if not the world is collapsing because of socialism. The president mentions every time he comes out that BP will be held accountable to pay for everything. BP has said that themselves. Why not mention Halliburton, Transocean, the government failures themselves? He mentions the people being driven out of work. How about the millions of dollars being spent on the clean up itself? BP is spending that money on an awful lot of services in the gulf right now.
