Northwest Cultural Council holds reception in Arlington Heights

The Northwest Cultural Council is holding an artists reception for John Green that will include poetry reading and a guitar performance 1-3 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 19 at Arlington Green Executive Centre, 2101 S. Arlington Heights Road, Arlington Heights. Pen and ink drawings by John Green, oils and pastels by Claire Wally, poetry readings by Virginia Bell and Jan Bottiglieri, and music by The Elmhurst Guitar Trio will be part of the event. The artwork will remain on display Mondays through Fridays from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. through Jan. 9. Admission is free. For information, call (847) 991-7966.
