Tax hike not right path for Millburn
Millburn School District board members, what are you thinking? You want to place a referendum question on the November ballot that will increase our taxes more than $700 annually and in perpetuity? No! Your district is $1.1 million in debt. Cut your debts first. Be very conservative. Then approach me again. Time to stop being an elitist two-school district and time to merge with another surrounding school district - if they will take you.
How could a seven-member school board pass this important vote 4-0? Where were your other three dedicated members?
