Neuqua Valley ends layoff with win

Leigh Nebendal went 3-for-4 with a 3-run homer, and No. 17 Neuqua Valley won at West Aurora 6-2 in the Wildcats’ first game in 15 days.

Jena Boudreau (5-2) struck out seven, Wenel Jais-Cros doubled and drove in 2 runs and Sarah Gronowski was 2-for-4 with a double for Neuqua (7-2).
