Arlington Heights Fire Department offering free smoke detectors

The Arlington Heights Fire Department is offering free smoke alarms with installation for those unable to physically or financially obtain or install one one their own.

Last year, more than 500 smoke alarms were installed through the department’s Smoke Alarm Program.

Visit www.vah.com/smokealarms or call (847) 368-5450 to sign up, and the fire department will schedule a visit to your home and install a new, 10-year sealed battery smoke alarm.
