Pitching matchups: The White Sox’ Phil Humber (1-2) vs. A.J. Burnett (3-0) Monday; Gavin Floyd (2-1) vs. Ivan Nova (1-2) Tuesday; Mark Buehrle (1-2) vs. Bartolo Colon (1-1) Wednesday; Edwin Jackson (2-2) vs. CC Sabathia (1-1) Thursday. All games 6:05 p.m.

At a glance: The Yankees (12-6) have won five of their last six are in first place in the AL East. The White Sox (8-14) have lost 10 of 11 and last in the Central. Looks like a predictable series, but maybe GM Kenny Williams will light a fire under the club as he rejoins the struggling Sox on Monday. The White Sox have lost six of their last seven against the Yankees. Paul Konerko batted .400 (8-for-20) with 3 home runs and 10 RBI vs. New York last year.
