Why fight for ‘right’ to abortion?

One issue the Democratic party was tenaciously fighting for was funding for their misconceived “right” of a woman to have an abortion. How long must this misconception be championed?

In reality, this is denying the life of an innocent human being. Couples involved know their actions might result in the birth of a child. They should be awarded, and the life of their child denied because he/she was not wanted? A selfish decision.

One never knows which life is more valuable, the child or its mother. I, for one, do not wish my hard-earned money to promote this practice. It is time to deny this affront to a holy God and spend our funds on legitimate needs, i.e. support for our troops, who should not miss a paycheck.
