Arlington Heights gets probation in cannabis case
A Cook County judge sentenced an Arlington Heights man to 24 months probation this week in exchange for his guilty plea to possession of cannabis.
The judge also ordered Stanford Kim, 30, to perform community service.
Acting on a tip from a confidential informant, Chicago police found more than 100 marijuana plants growing in Kim’s Rammer Avenue home. Authorities estimated the value of the marijuana at $300,000.
