Bartlett stepping up traffic patrols

Bartlett police will put additional officers out on patrol during parts of April and May to watch for drunken driving and traffic offenses.

The heightened enforcement efforts will take place from April 28 to May 8, which coincides with the Cinco de Mayo holiday, and May 13 to 30, which includes the Memorial Day holiday.

Police encourage residents and other drivers to enjoy themselves during the holidays, but use a designated driver if drinking is involved.
