Funeral protest not Christian behavior

I am appalled, but not surprised, by the Supreme Court decision to uphold the harassment of grieving military families as protected free speech. This is yet another instance of how something utterly revolting can be declared legal. Despite constitutional protection, this harassment flies in the face of civility, compassion, and reason.

As a Bible-reading Christian who knows what the Bible says about homosexuality, I am still hard-pressed to see any justification in scripture for such outrageous behavior of persons who profess to be Christians. I don’t see any correlation between the U.S. military, 9/11 and the tolerance of gays. Would Jesus do this?
