Incumbent slate right for Gail Borden

It all began with the dinosaurs, the transformation of the Gail Borden Public Library into a community center. We were fortunate enough to work with the wonderful library staff planning the programming for “Giants: African Dinosaurs.” What a treat for a 13-year-old boy to be able to work with Paul Sereno and Project Exploration and help set up the exhibit.

The magic of the library continues to thrill and educate Elgin residents with countless programs and exhibits. For the library to move forward into a new era, we need to continue to bring these sorts of programs and opportunities to our community.

In order to achieve that goal we’re supporting the slate of Jean Bednar, Herb Gross, Lisa Knight, Rick McCarthy, and Mo Iqbal for Gail Borden Library trustees. Join us in voting April 5 to save our library.
