Batavia fireworks committee to hold city garage sale

The Batavia Fireworks Committee will hold the 17th annual Citywide Garage Sale from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Friday, April 30, and Saturday, May 1.

Residents who wish to have their garage sale location appear on the official event map and advertising materials must pay a registration fee of $30. The deadline to register your garage sale is 5 p.m. Friday, April 23.

The $30 registration fee covers all the advertising costs in all the local newspapers, radio and BATV. More than 5,000 maps are printed and distributed highlighting the participant addresses.

All of the proceeds of the fee that garage sale participants paid to be identified on the map go to support Batavia's Fourth of July Fireworks show.
