Villa Park Rec offers spring soccer

The Villa Park Recreation Department's soccer program is still accepting registrations.

The season features a seven-game season, with games on Saturday mornings beginning April 9.

Teams practice one day per week between 4:30 and 7:30 pm. Players must purchase a reversible jersey for $15 or obtain a used jersey through the equipment exchange program.

New this season is the fifth- and sixth-grade age group playing in the Mid Suburban Soccer League along with the seventh- and eighth-grade age group.

The Mid Suburban League is a recreational soccer league consisting of co-rec teams from surrounding communities. Games are played in Villa Park and in the different host communities.
