Screens for Teens

The Max Schewitz Foundation and its Screens for Teens program will be at Grayslake Central High School on Wednesday, March 16. The foundation works to prevent sudden cardiac death in young people by providing free EKG screenings at Chicago-area high schools. To date, the foundation has screened more than 15,500 students and found 204 students with abnormal EKGs who were referred for a follow-up evaluation, organizers said.
