Palatine threw one heck of a party

The Palatine Paddy Wagons, representing the counties of Ireland, along with our Queen Kathleen, wanted to send our thanks and congratulations to Liz Noe on her tremendous work and efforts in putting together our first St. Patrick’s Day parade in Palatine.

It was a great success. Our family and friends had a great time and especially the kids in their wagons and on the float throwing beads and candy!

It was a fun-filled afternoon at Durty Nellie’s, too. We have marked down March 17, 2012 and have more people that want to join in! A new tradition for Palatine for sure! As the saying goes, “May the road rise up to meet you and may the wind be always at your back” ... and it sure was Saturday but everyone had too much fun to worry about wind! Even the crowds were with us! Sláinte!

As they say in Ireland ... “Fair play to you, Liz.” Thank you and all your volunteers!
