Volunteer, show your pride at Lombard PRIDE Week April 17-23
Lombard PRIDE Week will be held April 17-23 and it always culminates with the Clean Up Day on the Saturday preceding Lilac Time, which is April 23.
The village recruits volunteers to help spruce up the community in anticipation of Lilac Time, which brings an influx of visitors to the community.
Families, civic organizations and Scout troops are encouraged to participate to show their community spirit.
Volunteers for the PRIDE Day Clean-Up are currently being recruited. Please note that the DuPage County sponsored clean-up of the Prairie Path and Great Western Trails which usually falls on the same day as the Village's clean-up, is scheduled for the following Saturday, April 30.
To volunteer for the PRIDE Day clean-up, call (630) 620-5718.
