New Wis. fishing, hunting licenses to go on sale
MADISON, Wis. — Wisconsin's next round of hunting, fishing and trapping licenses are now for sale.
Licenses for 2010-2011 will expire on March 31. The new year's annual licenses will be valid from April 1 through March 31, 2012.
For the first time, the Department of Natural Resources will offer a one-day fishing license. It will cost state residents $8 and non-residents $10. Purchasers can pick the day they want to use the license.
Licenses are available online at the DNR's website, at authorized vendors and at DNR service centers. They're also available by phone at 1-877-LICENSE.
