Larkin Center's fundraiser brunch to feature gourmet menu, treats

The Larkin Center's 12th annual "Cheers for Children Brunch" will be from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Sunday, April 18, at Elgin Community College's University Business Center, 1700 Spartan Drive in Elgin.

Guests will savor gourmet menu items prepared and served by some of the area's finest restaurants. There will be a live and silent auction offering handmade items from the center's clients, wine grab bags, gift baskets, works of fine art, fine jewelry and a grand-prize raffle for a one-week condo stay at the Rushes Resort in Door County, Wis. Raffle tickets are $25 each or five for $100.

Admission is $75 per person or reserve a table for eight at $500. They accept Visa, Mastercard, Discover, American Express, cash or check payable to The Larkin Center.
