Deadline for Algonquin art show nears

The village of Algonquin and Algonquin Public Arts Commission are organizing the third "Algonquin's Art on the Fox" fine art show for Saturday, June 5, and Saturday, June 6.

The fine art show will take place outdoors in beautiful Riverfront Park along the Fox River and is open to participation by artists who create work of original design and execution in a variety of media, including paintings, drawings, sculptures, glass and photography.

The application deadline is Thursday. April 1. Artists interested in obtaining an application form can print a copy from the village of Algonquin's Web site at algonquin.org. For details or to request an application by mail or fax, call Ben Mason, village planner, at (847) 658-4184.
