Common sense letters
The Saturday, Oct. 21, "Your Views " letters by Bob Shea of Ivanhoe and Jerry Philips of Schaumburg were ripe with too much common sense. It was good to read the thoughts of people who do not seem to need to go to either extreme and have a common sense approach to solve a problem.
"We the people " need to correct the issues at the ballot box. Whatever happened to the likes of Tip O'Neal and Ronald Reagan who knew how to work together for the good of the American people. Real leaders. Actual politicians.
It seems that if today you're not extreme right or extreme left, you are nowhere. No room for common sense. So sad. America is suffering because we vote these clowns into office.
