Dining events: Enjoy Broadway classics at Chicago Prime

Dinner and Broadway

It's dinner followed by Broadway tunes at Chicago Prime Steakhouse's event Friday, April 1. Seating begins at 7 p.m. followed by a show at 9 p.m., when John Adair will perform Broadway classics and ballads. The event has a $15 cover charge and two-drink minimum.

Totopo now open

A new casual Mexican grill, Totopo, is now open in the Oak Brook Promenade, serving rustic and modern dishes including salsas, soups, salads, tacos, enchiladas, tortas, burritos, tamales and desserts. Every Tuesday is Taco Tuesday and guests receive a free side of rice and beans with every order of tacos.

Yummy Lent

Tuscany Restaurant's Lent specials will have people looking forward to giving things up. Specials include the spaghettini, which is made with calamari, octopus, mussels, clams, shrimp, marinara, and toasted garlic and herbs for $21. Or the penne with seared sea scallops, garlic, olive oil, herbs, hot pepper and light tomato sauce for $19. Specials are offered daily through Friday, April 22.
