NCH ranked as one of Chicago's best hospitals

Northwest Community Hospital in Arlington Heights has been recognized by U.S. News & World Report in the magazine's first Best Hospitals metropolitan area rankings. Among the 121 hospitals in the Chicago area, NCH was ranked No. 10.

The new rankings, released on Tuesday, recognize high-performing hospitals in or near major U.S. cities. The study analyzed 16 medical specialties and found NCH to be among the Chicago area's leaders in eight of them. According to U.S. News & World Report, NCH demonstrated a record of high performance in cancer care, gastroenterology, orthopedics, urology, kidney disorders, gynecology, geriatrics, and ear, nose and throat.

“It's always rewarding to see our efforts prominently recognized as we continue to focus on what's best for the patients who walk through our doors,” said Bruce Crowther, president and CEO.
