OUTLOOK: The Blue Devils have seemingly been a young team ever since current Stanford center Sarah Boothe graduated in 2008. This season, Warren again features loads of inexperience and, in fact, no seniors. Coach John Stanczykiewicz’s roster includes a pair of sophomore newcomers in Rachel Brown and Alyssa Phillips as well as freshman guard/forward Cassie Christie. There is experience with junior guard Lexi Leneau, junior guard/forward Amanda Barger and 6-foot-3 junior center Jessica Prince, all of whom have played varsity since freshman year. All three players got better last season. Leneau might have made the biggest strides, averaging nearly 9 points per game and earning all-conference and all-area honors. She could have an even bigger season this winter.
