Hoffman Estates wins budget award
The Village of Hoffman Estates has been awarded the Distinguished Budget Presentation Award from the Government Finance Officers Association of the U.S. and Canada, for the 2010-11 fiscal year budget. The village’s director of finance, Michael F. DuCharme was also presented the Certificate of Recognition for Budget Presentation. The award was presented based on how well the budget serves as a policy document, a financial plan, an operations guide and as a communications device.
