Perillo is best choice for judge

I recently received on of Judge Jorge Ortiz's brochures in the mail that states that he is “Living the American Dream” and what I read really concerned me.

I am glad that Judge Ortiz is living the “American Dream” while many residents of Lake County are losing their jobs to layoffs and their homes to foreclosure. Judge Ortiz has received thousands of dollars in campaign contributions from the lawyers that practice in front of him daily. I guess that Judge Ortiz plans to use those donations to help him continue to live the “American Dream.”

In this judicial race it has got to be time for a change in the Lake County court system and that's why I am casting my vote for the one candidate in the race who believes that “Judges Shouldn't Take Money.” That candidate is Mike Perillo and I believe that he will make a difference because he is an independent and will not become part of the “good ol' boy” network of judges and lawyers and that's why I believe that Mr. Perillo is the better choice.
