Funds were stolen from Social Security

There has been much talk recently by that enlightened group in Washington about balancing the federal budget. They believe that a tightening in some areas could certainly help. And where are they looking? Why certainly, where else but Medicare and Social Security? Surprise, surprise! They go where it doesn’t affect their thievery, due to their own self-judged golden parachute which never fails to open when they pull their rip cord.

The Democrats pulled off the largest Ponzi scheme ever witnessed, making Bernie Madoff look like a real amateur, when they stole the Social Security funds, placing them in the general account, enabling themselves to use much of those funds as their own personal slush money.

What is even more pathetic, they are now spending $24 million for new electronic medical records processing for our congressmen and senators. And this blows my mind when I read that this money will be coming from the savings to be generated from withholding Social Security cost-of-living increases for 2010 and 2011, benefits for the elderly, and a $2 increase on all Medicare drug co-pay. This in addition to voting themselves another 3 percent salary increase.

Trust me, these people are not idiots — we’re the dopes who continue to put these deceitful and delusional individuals in office.
