Businesses invited to learn about workers' comp in a down economy
Dreyer Medical Clinic's Occupational Health Services Department will invite all area businesses to attend a free seminar series, "Workers' Compensation in Today's Economy."
The second session in the five-part series will cover "Navigating the Bermuda Triangle: FMLA, ADA, and Work Comp Administration Compliance." The free seminar will be from 8 to 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, March 3, at St. Mark's Lutheran Church, 27 S. Edgelawn Drive, Aurora. Registration and coffee will begin at 7:30 a.m. Future session dates and times will be announced soon.
The series is offered to area businesses interested in learning about current Illinois Workers' Compensation law, how they can lower workers' compensation costs in today's economy, and how they can battle fraud.
This program has been approved for 2.25 General recertification credit hours toward PHR, SPHR, and GPHR recertification through the HR Certification Institute.
A certificate of completion will be given to each participant, along with the program ID number to submit to the HR Certification Institute.
