Hanover Park man faces marijuana charge

Bartlett and Hanover Park police Thursday arrested a 19-year-old Hanover Park man on felony possession of cannabis and possession of cannabis with intent to deliver charges after they say officers found two pounds of marijuana at his home. Victor Sanchez, of the 1600 block of Evergreen Avenue, was arrested at 8 p.m. Thursday after officers served a search warrant on the residence, according to a release from Hanover Park police.

The search warrant was obtained after a joint narcotics investigation by the two departments, police said.

Sanchez was transported Friday to the Cook County Courthouse in Rolling Meadows, where his bond was set at $50,000.
