Explore cultures at Thomas Middle School

Representatives of more than 15 countries will show off their dances, songs and crafts from 6-8:30 p.m. March 10 at Thomas Middle School, 1430 N. Belmont Ave., Arlington Heights.

Displays range from Chinese masks to examples of Jewish heritage and games and crafts from Spain, Germany, France and Nigeria. Other countries stepping up are India, Japan, Mexico and Poland.

Folk tales from Australia, a performance representing Islamic culture and dances of several countries will entertain. And don't miss the Shotokan karate demonstration.

Admission is free, and District 25 and the Arlington Heights Council of PTAs invite the public.
