Give pregnant women information they need

This is in response to Gaylon Alcaraz, executive director of the Chicago Abortion Fund, who seems to think the world would be a better place if pro-lifers would just shut up and stop trying to defend the lives of those poor women and their children. Would it be better to just let them go quietly like lambs to the slaughter? That’s the anti-life philosophy of Margaret Sanger, eugenicist/racist founder of Planned Parenthood: The less information the better. Don’t tell the parents they will regret the abortions for the rest of their lives. Don’t tell them they will hear their babies’ cries in their nightmares for years to come. Don’t tell them about the probability of cancer, depression, drug and alcohol addiction, etc., as a result of killing their children. Don’t tell them they’ll end up being spiritually the poorest of the poor.

Convince them that this abortion will end their problems. Persuade them that this is the right move, just when the desperate and vulnerable women feel they have no choice. Those who work for the abortion industry are obviously not helping the people they claim to serve. Like the letter writer, they are misguided and confused. The whole snaky business of abortion is based on lies and coercion, but the truth will eventually all come out, as it always does. We are not “anti-choice,” we are actually pro-choice: helping parents really make the best choice for themselves and their families by choosing life instead of death!
