Illinois vs. Indiana scouting report

Indiana (12-18, 3-14) at Illinois (18-12, 8-9)

When: 11 a.m. at Assembly Hall

TV: BTN

Radio: WIND 560-AM

The skinny: With a win on Senior Day, the Illini clinch a Big Ten tournament first-round bye and a spot in the Nos. 4 vs. 5 quarterfinal against the winner of Saturday’s Michigan State/Michigan game. The Illini ought to face a weary Indiana squad that finished Thursday’s game against Wisconsin around 10 p.m. Hoosiers coach Tom Crean complained via Twitter about the tightest turnaround for any Big Ten team to date. Illinois, of course, wants to avenge its 52-49 loss on Jan. 27 at Indiana. The Hoosiers have won just once since that upset and must win Saturday to have a chance to avoid the 11th seed in the Big Ten tournament. Illinois will hold its Senior Day ceremony after the game.
