Temporary Street Closure in Downtown Naperville

Emergency Personnel at the Scene of Structural Incident

The City of Naperville informs residents and interested parties that Washington Street between Jefferson Avenue and Van Buren Street in the downtown area is currently closed due to a structural incident near that location. Emergency personnel are on the scene securing the area and streets will be open as soon as it is deemed safe.

“For the safety of all residents and emergency personnel, we ask that motorists please find alternate routes through the downtown area,” Community Relations Manager Nadja Lalvani said. “The city will provide additional information to the public as it becomes available from our police and fire personnel on scene.”
