Sidor the smart choice for Arlington Hts. trustee
During these uncertain economic times when government is forced to make tough choices in order to meet everyday obligations it is every citizen's responsibility to ensure the individuals making these tough choices on our behalf are serving our best interests and are qualified.
On Tuesday, April 5th four trustees will be elected to the Arlington Heights Village Board. I encourage all residents of Arlington Heights to read up on the issues and the candidates in the coming weeks and vote on April 5th.
As a resident of Arlington Heights I attended the debates for the last election in 2009 and came to know Mike Sidor as a candidate for trustee and since then I have come to know him personally.
Mike's ability to communicate the issues in a clear, concise and thoughtful manner impressed me during the last election. When the election ended, Mike's commitment to the village did not. He continues to devote considerable time and energy to researching village issues and advocating on behalf of residents despite the time required to run his own business.
In the past two years Mike has developed relationships with the village president, trustees and key village staff members in order to gain insight and communicate the views of residents.
It is my personal opinion that Mike Sidor would be an asset to the village. He will take the time to thoroughly research the issues at hand and solicit feedback from residents in order to make the best decision for the village.
I believe Mike will bring a new viewpoint to the board but will be open to all views that are relevant to the issue. I wholeheartedly support Mike Sidor for Arlington Heights village trustee.
Please take the time to acquaint yourself with your local government and vote on April 5th.
