Choices for Lombard park, village boards

I would like to promote my choice for candidate for park district commissioner. Dave Kundrot has been a loyal friend of mine for over 20 years. During that time I have always been impressed by his dedication to public service and promoting Lombard, with no thought for himself.

Dave has served with several different organizations, always leaving them better than he joined them, through his tireless efforts and dedication to providing results. As a law enforcement officer in Lombard he has served the community for over 25 years and along the way has received numerous awards and citations for his excellent work, not the least of which was being voted Lombard’s “Man of the Year” in 2006.

Also, I would like to mention Keith Giagnorio who is running for District 2 Trustee. Shortly after being appointed to this position Keith had to deal with the catastrophic floods that we all encountered last year. Keith was kind enough and concerned enough that he attended a neighborhood meeting to hear problems that had occurred in our neighborhood. After that meeting he championed a cause to get FEMA assistance for many of us who qualified and coordinated with the village public works department to investigate our problems and hopefully some actions were taken that will help prevent this in our future. My neighbors and I were totally impressed with Keith’s “get it done” attitude and the involvement and actions he took to assist us. I don’t think we could ask for a better candidate to represent District 2. A local Lombard businessman, longtime resident and former park board president, Keith will bring a fresh look to our village board.
