Vehicle fire slows traffic on Addams Tollway

Westbound traffic was delayed on the Jane Addams Tollway (I-90) at about 9:30 a.m. today by an apparent vehicle fire immediately west of Arlington Heights Road in Arlington Heights.

The fire was very smokey, and emergency vehicles responded.

By 11 a.m., a car was being loaded on a tow truck and hauled away, and traffic was back to normal.
