Is the tax just right, too low or too high? Explain.I am not a proponent of raising any taxes but believe that the community's tax rate is lower than most surrounding towns. There is a perception that we spend a significant amount of money compared to services received. This can be addressed in reviewing the current police contract to ensure that the community's interest are being met.In these tight economic times, municipal budgets have to be prioritized. Where, if anywhere, could the current budget be trimmed, and conversely, are there areas the budget does not give enough money to?I believe the condition of our streets and parks should be improved.
