America’s hope is not with Democrats

A Mount Prospect man recently wrote Fencepost indicating America’s hope lies with the Democrats and that anyone voting Republican who isn’t a millionaire is an ignorant chump or “useful idiot” being used by billionaires. Typical liberal Democratic rhetoric.

No facts, just ranting and raving against those who disagree with their thinking. It causes me to wonder — is he speaking about the Democratic Party and present administration being funded by billionaire liberal George Soros? The party that unabashedly supports abortion including tax-funded abortion and continues to give our tax money to the largest abortion provider in the U.S., Planned Parenthood?

The party that immediately attacked a group of concerned American citizens that formed “The tea party” calling them bigots, racists, rednecks, un-American and worse and sued a sovereign U.S. state, Arizona, for adopting an anti-immigration law, mirroring the federal law, to keep them from enforcing it?

The administration that refuses to support and defend the “Defense of Marriage Act,” who has thrown our staunchest ally, Israel, to the wolves, who promotes class warfare and has buried our nation in overwhelming debt and whose solution is to raise taxes and continue spending? The party that passed a 2,000-plus page health care plan by bribing, threatening and lying, admitted they didn’t know what was in it and proceeded to issue waivers to labor unions, favorable corporations and strangely to high-end restaurants and hotels in Nancy Pelosi’s district?

An administration that will go to any length to support unions and looks unfavorably on “Right to Work” states? A party leading us steadily toward socialism? Really.

If that represents hope, he can have it. I’ll take and support the conservative views that are directly opposite of the Democrats’. Republicans, conservatives and tea partyers have far more hope to offer America.
