Is abortion irony lost on NOW?

The Jan. 30 article on the SpeakOut Illinois conference contains two glaring pieces of misinformation. The first states, “...the Roe v Wade...decision, which established the legal right to first-trimester abortion.” That decision, along with the companion Doe v Bolton decision, legalized abortion through the nine months of pregnancy.

The second piece of misinformation stated, “...more than 50 million fetuses that have been aborted since the decision in January, 1973.” Fetus describes a stage of development. “Human fetuses” is more accurate. Among the protesters reported as being there, were members of the National Organization of Women. Isn't it ironic that NOW doesn't see any contradiction in that 50 female of the babies being aborted are female?
