Aurora Central Catholic 40 Wheaton Academy 28: The Chargers utilized a tenacious man-to-man defense to throttle Wheaton Academy and spoil senior night in West Chicago.

Ashley Wilk poured in a game-high 21 points and Jackie Cardona added 11 for ACC, which improved to 15-9 overall and 6-3 in Suburban Christian Gold play. With the win, the Chargers tied the all time school record for wins set back in 2000-01.

Sophomore Alex Decraene spearheaded the stellar defensive effort as ACC built a 20-8 halftime lead and limited the Warriors (9-16, 4-6) to just two fourth quarter points.

The Chargers also avenged an earlier 42-41 loss to Wheaton Academy on December 18.

Guerin Prep 37, Aurora Christian 33: Alyssa Henzel tallied 10 points while Yvette Lira and Alyssa Andersen added 8 points each as the host Eagles (6-18, 3-7) dropped a close Suburban Christian Gold contest.
