St. Charles North blows out Jefferson

St. Charles North 50, Rockford Jefferson 31: The North Stars (13-10) won a nonconference game despite starters Josh Mikes and Chris Conrad missing the game for violating team rules.

Kyle Nelson led the North Stars with 17 points and transfer Brandon Bayman added 9.

Mikes and Conrad also won't play in a rare Sunday game against York but will return next week. The North Stars have won four of their five games and are 6-2 in their last 8.
