Flag Football League offered in Villa Park

Villa Park Parks and Recreation is offering a new Flag Football League this fall.

Kids in grades 1-6 can come out to Lions Park and enjoy action packed football in a fun and safe environment- no tackling allowed.

The league meets on Wednesdays and Sundays September 14-October 30.

The Wednesday practices will cover positioning, catching, throwing, patterns, footwork and offensive and defensive strategies that keep everyone thinking and moving.

Games will be held on Sundays.

Each player receives a T-shirt.

The Flag Football League is coached by All Star Sports Instruction.

Grades 1-3 meet 5-6 p.m. on Wednesday; 11 a.m. to noon Sundays.

Grades 4-6 meet 6 to 7 p.m. and noon to 1 p.m.

The fee is $120.
