Palatine Jaycees name 2011 officers
The Palatine Jaycees turned over the reins of the organization to its new board of directors for the 2011 fiscal year at the Jan. 20 general meeting held at the American Legion Hall on Palatine Road, in Palatine.
The new executive officers for the chapter are: Chrissy Trilling-Raices, president; Judy Reinholtz, chapter management vice president; Brad Haun, administrative vice president; Jennifer Iannuzzelli, community development vice president; Arron McCurley, membership development vice president; Jennifer Hecht, individual development vice president; Cynthia Coroneos, treasurer; Jackie Butler, secretary and Dan Reinholtz, chairman of the board.
There are also seven local directors and one lead local director. The local directors act as liaisons between the board of directors and the general membership. They are also responsible for notifying the membership of activities within the chapter.
The local directors are: Justine Braidwood, Kelly Clegg, Megan Conway, Collin Corbett, Peter Lotridge, Chris Rick and Jaclyn Stanger. The lead local director is Rachel Beck.
“My team and I are excited by the growth in size of the chapter and the new projects that we will be launching in 2011,” said Chrissy Trilling-Raices, Palatine Jaycee president. “The Palatine Jaycees have always been involved in our community with projects like our Fourth of July celebration and Christmas tree sale. With the new members that are joining and their contributions to the chapter, look for a number of new projects this year.”
The Palatine Chapter of the Jaycees, one of the nearly 100 local chapters throughout Illinois, has over 130 members and is one of the largest chapters in Illinois. The Jaycees provide individuals between the age of 21-40 the opportunity to develop personal and leadership skills, while serving their community. In Palatine, the Jaycees conduct approximately 100 projects per year including Christmas tree sales, sand sale and the Fourth of July celebration.
The Palatine chapter holds its monthly general meeting 7:30 p.m., on the third Thursday of the month at the American Legion Hall on Palatine Road. in Palatine.
