When will Obama listen to people?

I listened Feb. 11 to the news about the resignation of the president of Egypt. Then I heard President Obama responding to that news. It seemed rather ironic when he talked about the fact that it was appropriate for the president to resign, and then he continued to speak about how important it was that the Egyptian president listen to the wishes of the “people” and tender his resignation.

“Listen to the wishes of the people,” he said. Then my mind flashed back to the determined movement of Obama and the Democratic Party to push through the “Obamacare” program, and some of the other things which the “people” were against, according to all the polls.

When is the president going to listen to the voice of the “people,” and when is he not going to listen and go right on doing what he wants?
