Public Works Department prepares for snow
The Lombard Public Works Department is prepared for the snowfall that has been forecasted and will follow the Village's snow plan and its removal strategies.
Residents can assist and ensure the utmost safety by obeying the Village ordinances which do not allow cars parked on the street after one inch of snowfall (violators are subject to being towed) and forbid the pushing of snow into the streets or Village rights-of-way.
“According to the Village snow plan, after six or more inches of snow, the plan is to address priority streets,” said Carl Goldsmith, Director of Public Works.
