If yes, please explain: noCandidate's Key Issues Key Issue 1 I am honored and looking forward to continuing to serve the residents of the Village of Inverness as trustee. The existing board of trustees and Mayor have been very effective managing the Village needs as a result of our varied business backgrounds. The change to our own Police force has resulted in more than $400,000.00 first year savings and projected $1.3 million over the term of the contract. We have also executed a significant road resurfacing program through a bond issue (AAA rated)at a time when interest rates were very advantageous. The key issue for the program was to contain cost.Inverness enjoys one of the lowest tax rates in all of Cook county. The tax levy for 2011 decreased.
