Bin Laden must not be made a martyr
How can anyone believe that we cannot locate Osama Bin Laden after all these years and with the proven technology that has eliminated so many of his cohorts to date? We don’t even have to use ground forces, as the results of drone missile attacks have been well-documented.
It is my belief that the U.S. government and intelligence agencies are content to keep tabs on Bin Laden and make sure that he remains in his cave until he is eliminated by God. A captured or executed Bin Laden would be a huge martyr and source of increased hatred in the radical Muslim network. Of course, this strategy cannot be made public because of the uproar it would create among the American populace. Nonetheless, it is the wise choice for our war against terror.
