Democrats are in it for themselves
Well, I see that the real governor (Mike Madigan) gave the pretend governor (Pat Quinn) a demand: “Jump!” And Pat said, “How high, sir?” and the real governor said, “As high as I want to raise taxes on the poor saps that elected us.”
Now that the election is over the people of this state will pay dearly for the malfeasance of office provided by our Democrats who have provided themselves and the governor with some of the highest salaries in the 50 states for doing such a commendable job of giving themselves and their lackeys enormous pensions while the state languishes in debt so high that it will probably never recover.
But since the Democrats (and, yes, the debt was indeed created by the governor, House and Senate that have been in their hands since 2000) believe that four years from now when they run again, the electorate will probably have forgotten how we got into this mess originally. And I hate to say it, but they are probably correct.
