Aurora Christian, Marmion both win easily
Aurora Christian won its postseason opener 73-41 over No. 2 seed Chicago Collins Wednesday night at the Class 2A Lisle regional.
The Eagles, the No. 3 seed, will play host Lisle Friday night for the regional title. No. 4 Lisle upset No. 1 Westmont, 41-37.
Marmion 60, Guerin Prep 29: The Cadets (14-12, 5-5) evened their Suburban Christian Conference record with a balanced attack.
Graham Glasgow led the Cadets with 14 points. Mark Berdelle scored 10 while Pete Stefanski and Steve Bryant both chipped in 6.
Marmion, who heads west and north next week to play in the Class 3A Hampshire regional, led 18-9 after the first quarter and 31-13 at halftime.
