Palatine holds students vs. faculty game for charity

Palatine High School’s Students vs. Faculty Charity Basketball Game is scheduled to take place at 7 p.m. Thursday in the main gymnasium of the school at 1111 N. Rohlwing Road in Palatine.

The annual event raises money for the school’s Ray Mills Fund, which benefits less fortunate students.

The game features a faculty team pitted against a team of senior class students. There also will be quarter and halftime raffles for those in attendance.

The event is organized by the PHS Leadership for Life class and all athletes and entertainers are PHS students or staff members.

The community is welcome and encouraged to attend. Tickets are $3 at the door for students and adults or $2 for students who purchase tickets in advance, $1 for children in elementary school and there is no charge for children 5 years of age or under.
